You can use pdf2qbo converter tool as a workaround.

Yes, you can import an OFX file into QuickBooks, @rodtaylorflooring.

While converting your PDF to an OFX file is possible, the most recommended format for QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) is to convert your PDF bank statement to a CSV file. This format allows you to easily review the data in a spreadsheet, ensuring that everything is in the correct format before you import it, which helps to prevent errors.

Since your bank statement is converted to Microsoft Money (OFX), you can import your data and then upload more than 90 days of bank transactions through Web Connect. Here's how:

  1. When you're ready to import, open QBSE in a web browser.
  2. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  3. Select Imports.
  4. Choose Import older transactions for the account you want to add transactions to.
  5. Select Browse and find the file you downloaded from your bank.
  6. Select the file and click Open to start the import process.
  7. Review the column headers and data. Ensure that the Date, Description, and Amount columns in the CSV match the columns and order in QuickBooks.
  8. Click Continue to complete the import.

In addition, you may want to connect your bank to QuickBooks so that your recent transactions will download automatically.
