Quick books aren’t letting me connect with my bank. It was fine before but now when I go to reconnect it says authenticationFailedINPUT. Very annoying. Any ideas?

Can you verify the name of the bank account you are trying to connect to? That information will help me provide a timely solution. Also, I suggest reaching out to your bank to check if they have any maintenance updates. Let's also make sure that you enter the correct credentials when connecting your bank with QuickBooks. 

In the meantime, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue. To start, let's open your QBO account using incognito mode. This unexpected behaviour can be caused by too much cache that has been corrupted or damaged. The following are the shortcut keys you can use depending on your browser type:

• Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N 
• Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
• Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Once signed in, connect your bank again. Here's how:

1. Go to Banking and select Connect account.
2. Look for your bank and click Continue. Read through the terms and conditions, then hit Agree.
3. Follow the steps on your bank's internet banking page to authorise QuickBooks to connect to your bank account. Once you authorise the connection, you’ll be redirected back to QuickBooks.
4. Pick the bank accounts you want to connect, and which accounts they will link to in QuickBooks.
5. Tick Connect.

If this works, clear your regular browser cache. This is to remove the damaged and corrupted files. If the same thing happens, you can use another supported browser. The one you are currently using may have a temporary issue with QuickBooks.
