trying to import a .csv file of old bank transactions but get an error message saying probably us, try again (which I have) and then to contact us.....

The option to chat with an expert or be called back is not "live" - I would have chosen one of these....

Usually, this error occurs due to incorrect mapping or formatting. Hence, I recommend reviewing your CSV file to ensure it follows the format accepted by QuickBooks.

 

You can create a 3-column or 4-column format with the help of this article: Prepare your CSV file for bank upload to QuickBooks.

 

If the file details and format are correct but the issue continues, try logging out and then logging back into your account before importing your CSV file again.
