Removing the business feed from opening your QBO account is unavailable, Jeffosp.

 

The Business Feed is a default feature that displays completed tasks, items for review, and actionable recommendations to help you manage your business. For now, you can manually click the X button to temporarily remove the Business Feed option from your view.

Also, I recommend submitting feedback directly to our engineers about your preferences regarding this feature specifically, what you like, and what you would prefer to change. Just click the Gear icon and select Feedback.

You can customize your dashboard by using the drag-and-drop feature to rearrange widgets, allowing you to highlight the information that matters most to you. Additionally, you can mark your favorite options by clicking the star icon, with the ability to select up to 10 items.

Worst update in 35 years of using software. Not sure what A-hole thought using up Real estate on the homepage for what they call "business feed" useless buttons that just take up space. You used to be able to close them out by the X in the upper right hand corner. The ex is gone you can now hide some of them for up to two weeks. Changes like this will mean I will no longer be using QuickBooks by the end of the year. I have sent in over 200 feedbacks on this ridiculous upgrade that the first day went live added eight hours of work to my workday. My normal eight hour day turned into a 16 hour day trying to figure out where they hid all the buttons and changed all the user interfaces. I would love to go to the head of product development house move every single piece of furniture and item inside the house just put them in a new place and see if they can figure out how to live their life. Calling them a holes is being kind. What a g0ddamn disaster. It used to be mildly annoying to have to close out these business feed bubbles now they're stuck there.
