Credit card transactions show up but payment from linked checking account does not

Good morning! When I record a credit card payment from our checking account, the payment shows up in the checking account, the credit card and checking account balances both change, but no payment shows up in the credit card transactions. What am I doing wrong and how do I get the payment to show up?

I'm here to share some insights about your credit card payments not showing in the credit card account in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

When recording your credit card payment. make sure to check the payment in the bank register then ensure that the selected payment is a credit card.
