Good day,charles-hall-com. I can share some information about test deposits in QuickBooks Online Payroll. 

If you've already turned on the direct deposit feature in QuickBooks Online, the payroll test deposit of less than one dollar should be in your bank account within 2-3 banking days. Then, an additional 2-3 business days once the test deposit is verified. On average, it should take about seven business days to set up your payroll direct deposit.

Once the test transaction amounts are ready, enter them in your QuickBooks Payroll without the decimal point.

Here's how:

1. Go to Payroll, then Overview.
2. Choose Let's Go on from your To Do List on Check your bank account item.
3. Click Verify Amount.
4. Enter the transaction amount, then confirm it (no decimal point).
5. Click Verify.
