Question

Hey, does anyone have a bank account connected, you've refreshed it, and you're still not seeing appear transactions in QB? What's the fix?

Please disconnect and reconnect your bank and refresh your feed, then check the Pending, Posted, and Excluded tabs under Bank transactions, as transactions often land there instead of disappearing entirely. Here’s how:

  1. Hover over Accounting, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Click Update and wait for the refresh to finish.
  3. Check the Pending, Posted, and Excluded tabs to see if your transactions appear there.

Check your bank rules too, as they might be quietly categorizing or hiding those transactions. Also, QuickBooks won't auto-download transactions past 90 days.

Have you changed your bank login, password, or security settings recently? If so, please update them in QuickBooks as well.

However, you can manually upload your transactions via a CSV file. Here’s how:

  1. Go to Bank transactions and click the Link account drop-down menu.
  2. Select Upload from file.
  3. Click Upload from this device and follow the prompts.
  4. When finished, click Done.
