I understand you've already done the process on your end, gjw45. However, since it won't connect, we can do another option in linking your bank account.
Let's ensure to enter your bank account's URL in the Search field, then select the bank. If the name of the bank appears, then we can click and link them. However, if you still can't connect, I'd recommend we try using other supported browsers in opening your bank account's URL to narrow down the cause. Unlike the regular browser, private windows don't store any history or form data.
If it works fine from there, switch back to your regular browser and clear its cache.
Otherwise, your bank isn't supported yet in QuickBooks Online.
In the meantime, we can proceed by manually adding the transactions.
Here's how:
Go to Settings ⚙. Then, select Chart of accounts.
Find the account you want to upload the transactions into.
Select View register.
Find the oldest transaction, then write down the date.
