How can I just post a deposit into quick books

I can walk you through on how to enter deposit in the register.

1. Go to Accounting menu and then select Chart of Accounts.
2. Click View Register. 
3. From the Bank register, choose Add deposit in the Add check drop-down.
4. Fill out the information needed and make sure you enter the amount under Deposit column.
5. Tap Save.

Once completed, you’ll be able to record a deposit in the register.
