You can't link an old bank account to a new one or transfer live feed history. Instead, disconnect or hide the old account and connect the new one.

Make sure all historical transactions from your old account are fully categorized and reviewed so your tax reports remain accurate. To verify this, check your main dashboard or tax bundle to ensure no uncategorized transactions remain under the old account. Then, proceed with connecting your new bank account:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then Connect bank.
  2. Search the name or URL of your bank.
  3. Select Continue.
  4. Enter the sign-in information you use for your bank's website.
  5. When you’re ready, select Connect securely.

Next, hide or stop syncing the old account:

  1. Go back to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Manage accounts.
  3. Toggle the switch in the Show Account column to Off.
  4. The old account will disappear from your dashboard to help avoid duplicate feeds and prevent confusion with your new balance.

Could you tell me a little more about what you're hoping to set up with your accounts (for example, are you linking your old QuickBooks account to a new one)?
