You can directly copy your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) data to QuickBooks Online (QBO) Simple Start, @samsconst. Let me share the steps below to achieve this seamlessly.
While you can easily move the data to QBO, please keep in mind that there's no way to return to QBSE after the process. Thus, you’ll want to save all your financial reports for safekeeping. Here’s how:
Go toReports.
From theTax detailssection, select a tax year.
ClickDownload.
Download a report for each year available in QuickBooks.
Repeat these steps for your Profit and Loss, Mileage Log, and Receipts.
Once you’re done, follow these steps on a computer if you want to proceed with switching programs:
Go toSettings, then clickUpgradefrom the Profile column.
SelectChoose planfor the one that you prefer.
Review the changes in features, then selectSounds good.
If you wish to copy your data to QBO, chooseBring my data. If not, pickStart Fresh.
Review the summary of data that you’ll move to QBO.
ClickContinue, thenTo QuickBooks Online!
Double-check your payment method, then selectChange plan. If you need to change it, tap✎Edit.
Confirm a few details about your business to start using QBO.
