how to copy chart of accounts from one company to another company

I recognize the importance of transferring the chart of accounts from one company to another for you, @Tarakptl. Yes, we can run an account list report, and export it to an Excel file, and if needed, you can also download a sample spreadsheet for importing it into a different account.

To export a Chart of Accounts, generate an Account List report and then export it to an Excel file. Follow these steps to do so:

1. Navigate to Reports.
2. In the Find report by name field, enter Account List.
3. Select Export Excel.

After exporting the report, you have the option to download a sample file in either Excel or CSV format. Then you can upload the spreadsheet to another company file you own.

Here's how:

1. Navigate to the Gear icon.
2. Under the Tools section, click on Import data.
3. Select Chart of Accounts.
4. Locate and select your file, and then click Open.
5. Click Next.
