Automatically, QuickBooks Payments match payments to invoices and record transactions in QuickBooks. Additionally, we need to ensure that the selected deposit account is the same account where you deposit received payments. Here are the steps to follow for selecting your accounts:
Select the Settings icon ⚙, then Account and Settings.
Go to the Payments tab.
In the Chart of Accounts section, select your accounts and save.
