Question

I deleted a link to a credit card account but it stillshows up on the dashboard. How do I get rid of this?

Hello there, @RB251.

 

Thanks for taking your time in posting your first concern in the Community. I'll walk you through the steps on removing the credit card account from your QuickBooks Online dashboard.

 

First off, let's make it inactive in your Chart of Accounts so it will not reflect anymore on your dashboard. Rest assured that your transactions are still in the account once you reactivate it. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Chart of Accounts and locate the bank you want to disconnect.
  2. Click on the drop-down button beside the View register section.
  3. Select Make inactive, then select Yes to confirm.
