Question

I have tried everything to upload my past transactions via CSV and am only getting error messages, does anyone know what the problem may be?

I have read all troubleshooting advice, reformatted the columns to be exact.. I keep getting "looks like this file doesnt contain any valid transaction data."

You can use the trial version of csv2qbo converter to isolate the problem.

As a next step, import the CSV again and include all transactions if prompted. If you aren’t prompted or you still receive the same error message, I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Live Support team for further assistance. 

They have specialized tools and access to review your file and account setup, which will help them identify the cause and resolve the issue efficiently. Here’s how: 
 

  1. Navigate to the Help (?) Icon.
  2. Click Contact us below the Search tab section.
  3. Enter brief information about your concern.
  4. Select Continue to proceed and choose how you would like to connect with us.
