Let me provide some information about changing an incorrect end date on a reconciliation, kristi-yeager.
If you haven't finished the reconciliation, we can change the ending date by returning to the reconciliation page. Then, modify the end date period by following the steps below:
Go to Accounting on the left menu.
Tap the Reconcile tab.
Select the bank account from the Account drop-down list.
Tap the Resume reconciling button.
Tick the Edit Info button located in the upper right-hand corner.
Change the Ending Balance and Ending Date.
Press Save.
If the reconciliation has already been completed, the option to change the date in QuickBooks Online is unavailable (QBO). We can reverse the reconciled transactions by undoing them. Here's how:
Click Accounting at the left panel and choose Chart of Accounts.
Locate the account for the transaction and click View register.
Look for the transaction that you want to undo reconciliation.
In the check column, repeatedly click the top line of the transaction until the box is blank. This removes the transaction from the reconciliation.
Feel free to visit our Reconciliation page for more insights about reconciling your bank account with QuickBooks.
If there's anything else I can help you with, aside from reconciliation, please let me know by leaving a comment below. I'd be more than willing to lend you a hand.
