You can edit the Memo/Description field for reconciled transactions directly in the Chart of Accounts, Michelle.

Please know that when changing reconciled transactions to avoid mismatch issues, even though the memo or description field doesn’t directly affect reconciliation.

Follow the steps below:

  1. From the left-hand navigation, click My Apps, Accounting, then Select Chart of Accounts from the submenu.
  2. Select the bank account from the list and click View Register.

  3. Browse the account register for the transaction you want to modify. Reconciled transactions are marked with an "R" in the Reconcile (Status) column, then hit Edit.

  4. Scroll down and go to Memo and then modify it.
  5. Tick the Description box if you want to change it for each line item, and click Save.

  6. Click Yes to confirm the changes.

Any changes to a transaction are recorded in the Audit log for compliance and tracking purposes.
