If I am in as the accountant and add a line in the bank register in order to reconcile to the bank statement will that update to the user treasurer immediately.

Yes, as an accountant, you can update the bank register to reconcile with a statement. Changes reflect instantly for all users, including the treasurer, Lori-Maratea. The process varies between QuickBooks Desktop and Online.

Here’s how:
 

  1. Go to My Apps.
  2. Click on Accounting.
  3. Choose Chart of Accounts.
  4. In the top-right corner, click the Gear icon located next to both the printer and export icons.
  5. Under the Other section, select Show in one line.
