Instant Deposits no longer available?

Has anyone else just randomly lost the instant deposit option? I've had QBD for a little over 2 years and during that time, I can only think of 1 payment not being eligible for instant deposit. I don't use it as often as I used to, but I've noticed over the past week or so, I don't seem to have the option. I'm grateful that I don't need it as often as I once did, but it was nice to have that security bc you never know. Contacting them is an absolute nightmare and I don't have an entire day to set aside to deal with it right now. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

I understand how frustrating it can be to lose access to the Instant Deposit feature, especially if you've relied on it for a long time, @windyl0u. At this time, we haven’t received any recent reports of Instant Deposits no longer being available.

Here are a few things to check that could help resolve the issue:

  1. Make sure your QuickBooks Payments account is active, in good standing, and you’re signed in as the primary admin. If there’s been any recent issue with your Payments account, this could impact availability.

  2. Review your debit card. Instant Deposits require the use of a Visa or Mastercard debit card linked to a checking account. Make sure the card on file is still active. If it’s expired or has been replaced, you’ll need to update it by following these steps:

    • Go to Customers and then select Credit Card Processing.
    • Select the Record Merchant Service Deposits option.
    • Click Deposit Settings and click Change to update your debit card information.
    • Hit Save Settings.

  3. Check for software updates or re-open QuickBooks Desktop, as technical glitches may hide the Instant Deposit banner.
