There is a way to change the date for bank deposits, @perlman492.

If you import transactions from your bank into QuickBooks, you can't change the date immediately. First, you need to exclude those transactions. Afterward, update the date, and then you can import them again.

Alternatively, if you manually created the transactions, you can change the date by accessing your Bank Register.

Here's how:

  1. Go to your Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the transaction and click on View register.
  3. Select the deposit you want to edit.
  4. Click Edit.

I also recommend that you reconcile your accounts regularly to ensure they're always balanced, which helps avoid discrepancies in the future.
