Is there a way to stop viewing years of bank register when you go in each time? Its so cumbersome.

You can filter the dates to avoid viewing several years' worth of bank transactions, mainstreet.

From your bank registers, click on the Filter icon and customize the Dates to the specific year or quarter. Then, select Apply.

Also, you can click on the Date to arrange the transactions chronologically from the most recent to the oldest entries.
