Thanks for bringing this to our attention, dizisjajacash.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) often pauses direct deposit to ensure security, prevent fraud, and maintain compliance with banking regulations.

While address mismatches can sometimes cause a pause, other factors could also be involved, such as:

  • Your bank account is not fully verified during setup.
  • Insufficient funds in the payroll bank account which could prevent successful payroll processing.
  • Incomplete or inaccurate payroll setup information, mismatched legal name, EIN, address, or incorrect tax details.

To resolve this issue, please verify and update your business or bank address. Ensure that your company address in QuickBooks accurately reflects your legal business address. Check with your bank to confirm that the address on file matches your business records.

Double-check also that the bank account details linked to payroll are correct and fully verified. Ensure that there are sufficient funds available for payroll processing.

If QuickBooks clearly cited an address mismatch as the reason for the pause, it may relate to specific banking regulations or compliance requirements for your business.

To verify the specific reason for the pause and ways to fix it, we recommend contacting our Phone Support team. They can review your account in detail and guide you through the necessary steps to restore your direct deposit functionality.
