It could be that the payment isn't eligible for instant deposit. These are the transactions that aren't included as part of your available balance. Additionally, the customer payments you receive between 2:00 to 3:00 PM PT can't be scheduled for instant deposit.
If you need to get your money on the same day, you can to manually request an instant deposit before 3:00 PM PT. I'll show you how:
In your QBO account, go to the Sales menu.
Select the Deposits tab.
Click Get it now in the instant deposit section.
Review the total and associated fees.
When you're ready, select Get it now.

I have the same issues! Sometimes it funds to my instant deposit immediately no matter what time of day and sometimes it says it will be 4 days before my funds are deposited. All from the same customers I get regular payments from using the same payment methods for the same invoice amounts regularly . It’s ridiculous not being able to get any help from customer service. Even the so called faster resolution center says it’s under review for 2 days!! Some small business need access to their funds the same day!
