Run the Verify Rebuild Data utility. Any error messages?

To ensure we're on the same page, is the wrong bank account connected, or is the correct account showing wrong transactions? If payroll transactions are posting to the wrong account, check your bank mapping in the payroll settings. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Payroll settings.
  2. You’ll then head to the Accounting Preference section and review the bank account mapping to ensure they’re correct.

I also recommend reviewing your bank statement to see if those transactions appear. If they do not, exclude them from your bank feed to prevent confusion. If the issue persists, you can disconnect and reconnect your online banking services to refresh the system connection.

To exclude the transactions, here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu and select Bank Feeds.
  2. Select Bank Feeds Center and locate the affected bank account.
  3. Find the transaction and click the drop-down arrow in the Action column.
  4. Select Ignore to exclude the transaction.
  5. Click Yes.

To refresh your bank connection instead, please refer to this guide: Disconnect Bank Feeds for an account in QuickBooks Desktop.
