It nice to have you here! Currently, splitting one deposit between two (2) linked bank accounts is unavailable, Heather.

In QuickBooks Self-Employed, you can only split transactions while categorizing them between business and personal uses. You can can also split business transactions between multiple Schedule C expense categories. To do so, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu.
  2. Find the transaction you want to split.
  3. Select Split from the Type column.

Once done, the split transaction window now opens.

  1. Select Percentage or Amount from the Split by ▼ dropdown.
  2. For each split, select Business or Personal from the Type ▼ dropdown.
  3. If you select Business, select the link in the Category column and select the category you want the split to go into.
  4. Enter the amount or percentage for each split.
  5. To add additional splits, select Add line.
  6. If you need to exclude a split, select the Exclude checkbox.
  7. When you're done, select Save.

You can manually add the deposit for each of the linked bank account based on the percentage allocated for them or you may want to consult an accountant to ensure the accuracy for tax filing.

If there are questions or anything else feels unclear when splitting accounts, we're all ears and ready to make sure everything works perfectly for you.
