Undo Import of Personal Transactions

I accidentally imported my personal bank account transactions from the bank where I also have my business bank account. It seems like the accounts are crossed now. I have toggled off all personal accounts, and disconnected the personal account altogether, but the transactions from my personal account are still showing in the account. Can I undo the import and unlink the account?

Hi there, Josh.

You cannot fully reverse an import after transactions are downloaded, but you can clean up your personal accounts data on the Chart of Accounts page.

Since you have already disconnected your personal accounts, all you need to do is delete the transactions individually on the Bank Register page.

Here's how:

  1. In your Chart of accounts, find your personal account.
  2. Click on View Register to view the transactions.
  3. First, select the transaction you want to delete by clicking on it.
  4. Then, confirm by clicking Yes and continue with the next one.

After deleting the transactions, you can make your personal bank account inactive.
