I’m here to share some insights and ensure that you’re able to see your time entries in QuickBooks Online, @Joe196.
The time entries you enter into the system should presumably continue to be visible after being saved. We can try some troubleshooting steps to find the root cause of this issue and fix it.
First, I recommend running the Recent/Edited Time Activities report. This way, you'll be able to verify if the transactions are deleted or not. I’ll show you how:
On the left navigation bar, click Reports.
Go to the search bar.
Type in Time and select Recent/Edited Time Activities.
Filter the date range.
View the transactions.
If you’re still unable to see those time entries, please proceed with the troubleshooting steps below. Thus, too much historical data from the browser causes unusual behavior like what you encounter with the time entries.
For us to determine if this is a browser-related issue, I suggest using a private or incognito window. To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts depending on what browser you’re using:
Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome browser
Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox & Microsoft Edge browsers
Command + Shift + N for Safari browser
Then, perform the same task again. If it works fine, you can go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh or use another supported and up-to-date browser to narrow down the results.
Moreover, I’ve added this handy article that may come in handy for tracking user activities in your account, as well as some information about the special users that QuickBooks creates: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.
You can always reply or reach out to us again if you need anything else with time entries. We're always here to guide and assist whenever you need help. Keep safe always!
