I'd be happy to lend a hand and explain the missing transactions from your bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Lala.
When linking your bank account to QBO, the program only downloads transactions from the past 90 days. That said, you'll need to upload your last year's bank transactions into the program manually.
To do that:
Identify and note the date of the oldest existing transaction in the account to avoid entering duplicates.
Log in to your bank's website to download the bank transactions. Once done, review the file and ensure it's in the correct format.
Go to Transactions, then Bank Transactions.
Click the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions.
Select the Link account dropdown and select Upload from file.
Choose either Drag and Drop or Select files, then select the file you downloaded from your bank.
Click Continue. Follow the onscreen steps to proceed.
Additionally, we suggest reconciling your accounts to ensure that your financial records in QBO match your bank statements.
Please know we're always around to back you up if you need additional guidance updating your bank transactions in QBO. Swing by the Community, and we'll respond promptly to your concerns. Be safe, and have a wonderful rest of the day.
