Question

Why did my instant deposits stop getting deposited instantly? I was getting money sent to my account several times a day and now it hasn’t been sent. Why did is stop?

I have been using the instant deposit feature where I was getting same day deposits as my customers pay their invoices. All of a sudden yesterday none of the funds were sent to my account today. And instead I received a message that funds were on the way. It was 11pm I didn’t receive one deposit during the day and now its the next business day and I still haven’t received it

We understand how important it is to have timely access to your funds, and we are here to shed some light on this for you, Admin397.

If your funds are delayed after receiving a "funds on the way" message, we'll need to work with your bank if they require additional steps. Some financial institutions hold onto funds after we deposit them. Also, your instant deposit may be delayed for several reasons:

  • You've reached your daily limit for instant deposits. Your limit resets daily.
  • The customer payments are under review. Learn more about why we may hold funds.
  • You received the payment after 3 PM PT. After this time, payments are deposited at the standard speed.
  • Payments received between 2:15 PM and 3:15 PM PT are deposited at the normal speed unless you manually request an instant deposit before 3 PM PT.

To learn more about instant deposits, check out these articles:

To check the status of your deposit, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. In the METHOD column, check the status.
    • Funded: The deposit was successful.
    • Withheld or Batch Deposit Returned: The deposit has an issue.
  3. Click the arrow icon in the FEE column to review details.
  4. You'll get an email with instructions on how to resolve the issue.

If you've already checked with your bank and the funds still haven't appeared, we recommend contacting our Merchant Support Team for further assistance.
