Why did my QuickBooks Online dashboard suddenly change to a new layout?

My dashboard changed to a new layout suddenly this morning.  I can't find any information or about the update.  It's really frustrating that QBO makes sudden changes this way, but I'm also finding that the new layout is difficult to understand.  Has anyone had the same issue?  Do you know of any resources that would help explain the new layout?

    A sudden dashboard change in QuickBooks Online is most often caused by a switch between the two available display modes: Business view and Accountant view. These two views show different layouts, menus, and widgets. If someone in your company changed the view, or if it was reset, your dashboard can look completely different overnight.

     

    Check and switch your view

    1. Select the Settings (Gear) icon in the upper right.
    2. Look for Switch to Business view or Switch to Accountant view.
    3. The option shown is the one you're not currently in. Select it to switch to the other view and see if that matches what you had before.

     

    Switching views has no effect on your data, accounts, or transactions. It only changes what you see on the screen.

     

    QuickBooks Online also receives regular product updates that can introduce new interface elements. You can stay up to date with recent changes through the Product Updates page. If you've spotted a change you'd like to share feedback on, go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.

     

    Let us know which view you're in and what the layout looks like. That'll help us figure out what changed and what the best next step is.

    Welcome to the Community, acacia2.

     

    I've reviewed our QuickBooks Blog, as well as Intuit's Product Updates webpage, and can confirm there's currently no publications about changes that have been made to the dashboard.

     

    To verify my understanding, what changes are you noticing on your dashboard? If you could provide screenshots, that would help me to better understand what you're seeing.

     

    QuickBooks also has two different views which can be changed anytime. One's called Business, the other's called Accountant.

     

    Here's an image showing what they both look like:

     

    If you're using a view that you'd like to change, you can do so by utilizing the Gear (⚙️) icon, then selecting a preferred view.

     

    You can also submit feedback to our Product Development team about any changes that may've been recently made.

     

    Here's how:

    1. Use the Gear (⚙️) icon, then go to Feedback.
    2. Enter your suggestion(s) in the Have feedback? window.
    3. If necessary, attach a file with your Camera (📸) icon.
    4. Select Next.

     

    Your feedback's definitely valuable to Intuit will be considered in future updates.

    My Dashboard changed too and I was on hold with the QB expert for 2 hours and whom said they were working it and nothing about changing the dashboard page or how to put it back only that someone from engineering would email me and they have No timeline.
