Question

why does it look like some transactions are in quickboods several times? and my bank account amount is correct but my in quickbooks amount is like thousands of dollars more than what is actually in my bank account?

It's could be that there are duplicate transactions added in QuickBooks Online causing this balance issue. To rule this out, you can open your bank register and then compare each transaction to your bank statement. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Accounting menu.
  2. Choose Chart of accounts.
  3. Find the account on the list, then select View register.
  4. Review the transactions and then compare them to your bank statement.
  5. Select the duplicate transaction to expand the view, then click Delete.
  6. Choose Yes to confirm the action.

Also, you'll want to match the downloaded transactions with the ones you already entered instead of adding them. This links the transactions together so you don't get duplicates.
