Let me provide some information about the Undo reconciliation option in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Then, guide you in the right direction on how to resolve your concern.
The Undo button in the Action column is only available in QuickBooks Online Accountant. If your accountant uses this version, you can let them undo the reconciliation on your behalf.
If you’re using a different QuickBooks version, you can only unreconcile one transaction at a time. However, if you need to start over, I'd recommend reaching out to your accountant.
Here's how to invite your accountant:
Go to the Gear icon.
Under Your Company, select Manage Users.
Go to the Accounting firms tab, and click the Invite button.
In case you'd like to match your QuickBooks accounts to your real-life bank and credit card statements in the future, you can use our Reconciliation Workflow as a guide. It's ensures everything is accurate. Then, you can view, print, or export a report if you have trouble reconciling for the following month.
I'll be glad to help you again if you have other questions about reconciling or unreconciling your accounts in QuickBooks. Feel free to comment down below and I'll respond as soon as possible. Have a good one.
