Hi, mark249. Could you please provide the name of the financial institution and let me know if you’re seeing a specific error code? Syncing interruptions often happen due to server maintenance on the bank's end.

To isolate the issue, start by checking your bank's website for any service alerts. If you don't find any updates, you can manually update your bank connection in QuickBooks by going to Gear icon > Transactions > Manage account > Refresh All. This pulls in your most recent data and clears out temporary connection glitches.

If the refresh doesn’t work, log in using an incognito/private window or a different supported browser to rule out cache issues. You can also manually import a CSV file of your transactions to remain up to date while the connection is reset.

Watch for any duplicate transactions once the connection is back. You’ll want to exclude those in the For review tab so they don’t affect your tax calculations or Profit and Loss.

Click the Reply button below if you need any assistance with the manual import or have more questions. I'll be happy to assist you.

Try opening your QBSE account on any private/incognito browser.
