Question

I can’t seem to connect my ING account to my self employed quickbooks account. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I’ve made sure all my details are correct. Just not sure if the problem is with quick books or ING

I appreciate you for reaching out.

To provide you with the most accurate guidance, I need to ask a couple of questions:

Firstly, are you encountering any specific error code when connecting to your bank? You can find this article about fixing common bank connection errors in QuickBooks useful: Fix specific bank errors.

Secondly, is this your first attempt at linking your bank, or do you have a pre-existing connection? I also recommend contacting your bank to check if there are any updates or to request help connecting with QuickBooks.

In the meantime, you have the option to manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Please let us know your responses so we can assist you more effectively. Don't hesitate to click the Reply button below.

I cant link to my ING accounts. Error 106

I cant import as ING only exports PDF files & Quickbooks only accepts CSV.

Do we have any other work around?

I've lost over12 months of transactions

This error indicates an issue with the connection between your bank account and QuickBooks, jonesyGT. It means QuickBooks can't find your bank account on the bank's website, potentially due to account closure or other connection problems. Let's work together so you can get back working with your transactions seamlessly.

Are you using QuickBooks Online? If so, please know that we're prioritizing this matter. If you haven't reached out to our live experts, I recommend doing so. They can check and communicate the progress with you. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Help icon on the top menu.
  2. Select the Search tab and enter your concern. For instance, enter help.
  3. Click the Contact Us button and choose between Chat or Callback to connect with us.

If you're using QuickBooks Self-Employed, you'll want to manually import transactions from a CSV file. You can use a converter tool to convert your file from PDF to CSV.

Once downloaded, it's essential to verify that everything is in order. Check out this article for organising your transactions in QBO: Find, categorise, and edit transactions in QuickBooks Online.
