Question

I categorize receipt, search for bank transaction manually - that bank list is not updating for me so no matches despite them being in the transaction page, any clues?

List of transactions in Bank Transactions is up to date. The list for matching receipts via the method above is only to early June. 100 receipts but no matches though I can view them in transactions. Nothing posted. Something not connecting?

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I understand the importance of matching your QuickBooks transactions.

 

Here are some possible reasons why you can't see the matches in your QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

First, if the transaction is older than 90 days, it's important to note that even if you mentioned the list of transactions is up to date as of early June, the downloaded entries could still be older than 90 days. To address this, you'll need to add those transactions to QBO manually. This way, you will be able to see the suggested matches in the For review tab.

 

Second, a downloaded bank transaction might be matched to a different transaction in your QBO. You can manually undo the matched transaction in the Categorised tab.




Once done, exclude that transaction if needed to avoid confusion with your downloads. For you to accurately match your bank transactions in your QBO records.
