The reason you are seeing your current 2025 transactions but not the older ones from 2024 is due to a standard limit set by most financial institutions, Luke.

When you first connect your bank to QuickBooks, the system downloads only the last 90 days or about three months of transactions. Any data older than that must be brought in manually.

As a workaround, you need to manually upload your bank transactions in QuickBooks so you can still continue with your banking tasks and be able to record them accurately. Make sure to prepare the transactions first based on the file guidelines our software requires to upload them successfully. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Transactions menu.
  2. Click the drop-down button on the Connect account, then select Import Transactions.   image.png
  3. Click Import older transactions for the account you want to add transactions to.    image.png
  4. Follow the onscreen steps to upload the CSV file.
