Let's go through some troubleshooting steps to update your credit card's expiration in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), Darren.

We appreciate you trying to update your subscription billing information on different devices. If you access your QBSE account using a mobile app, then the option to edit the credit card details is unavailable. We need to use a web browser and log in to your account to modify the payment method. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to QBSE in a web browser.
  2. Click your Profile ⚙ icon and select 'Billing info'.
  3. In the Payment Information section, tap Edit.
  4. Edit the payment method used for QuickBooks billing (expiration date, billing address, and account holder name)
  5. After saving your change, the payment method will be displayed in the Payment information section.

To learn more about this one, check out this article: Update your billing and subscription info in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

If the same thing happens, it could be that there's a temporary technical issue with QBSE. We can clear the cache to delete the temporarily stored files and browsing history. We can also use an alternative supported browser or device if this doesn't work.
