I've checked here on my end and find no reported issues about the connectivity of the Bank of Ireland.
Rest assured I'm here to help and isolate the issue. To begin with, did you receive any error messages? If so, can you share them with me? This way, we can easily narrow down this matter. Any additional details is much appreciated.
Moreover, you might also want to contact your bank and verifying of any updates. It could be there's a maintenance issue that hindrance the connectivity between your bank and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
In the meantime, let's manually upload your transactions to get around this issue. I'll show you how.
Sign in to your Bank website and follow the instructions to download the file as QBO, .CSV, or .QFX (maximum file size 350KB).
Ensure to download only those transactions that haven’t been downloaded to your account to avoid duplicates.
Once done, go to the Banking or Transactions menu.
Select the Linkaccount drop-down menu and then click Uploadfromfile.
Click the Draganddroporselectfiles box and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Continue.
From the QuickBooksaccount drop-down, select your Bank of Ireland, then select Continue.
Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks, then select Continue.
Select the transactions you would like to import and click Continue.
Click Yes to import the transaction and select Done.
You can always count on me if you need more help connecting your bank or with your QBO account. I'm more than happy to help you anytime. Keep safe and have a good one!
