Hi there, accounts660. An account showing in your Chart of Accounts doesn’t automatically mean it’s connected to online banking. The bank feed only displays accounts that are actively linked to your financial institution, so an account can exist in your books without appearing in the transaction feed.
If the account was manually created, it won’t appear in the Bank Transactions tab until it’s connected. To connect it, go to Bank transactions > Connect account and follow the prompts. When asked, be sure to link the bank connection to the existing account in your Chart of Accounts rather than creating a new one. This ensures your records stay accurate and prevents duplicate accounts.
Linking the account allows transactions to flow into QuickBooks Online automatically while keeping your Chart of Accounts clean and properly mapped.
