Hello there, Alina. Welcome to the Community.

Let's get everything sorted out with your bank balance so we can help you get back on track.

To provide you with the best answer, I'd like to know whether you've connected your bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO) or if you only imported the transactions manually. Also, could you please clarify what you mean by bank balance? Are you referring to the figures shown on the Banking page? Any additional details will be appreciated.

If you see a balance of $0 on the Banking page, it is usually because you have manually uploaded your transactions using a CSV, QBO, or OFX file, rather than connecting your bank account directly to QuickBooks.

When you use the manual upload method, QuickBooks doesn't have a live connection to your financial institution. As a result, the banking dashboard automatically defaults to zero for your balance, even after importing your latest transactions, due to its inability to fetch real-time data from your bank.

Your actual balance will only be visible if you have connected your account to QuickBooks. You can also update it to retrieve the latest information. To do this, we can go to your Banking page and click the Update button located in the right side of your screen.

Additionally, please note that all recorded transactions will impact your QuickBooks balance. To avoid discrepancies, you'll want to review and resolve any duplicate entries. An incorrect opening balance can also contribute to the problem.
