Question

Hi I missed the deadline for upgrading to Open Banking bank feeds when my existing bank feed was retired on 31 May 2026. Is it too late as I cannot connect. Thanks

It's not too late to migrate to Open Banking. The cutoff dates for this transition are detailed in the article, with the earliest deadline set for August. You can check the link: Open Banking list. Before we continue, could you please let me know which bank you use and what specific error message or issue you are encountering?

If you miss the Open Banking deadline, your transactions will stop importing on the cutoff date. To resume automatic imports and ensure a smooth setup, please follow the steps in this article: Migrate an existing bank account to Open Banking in QuickBooks Online. In the meantime, you can manually upload your transactions.

Before you connect your bank feed, please make sure:

  • Pop-ups are enabled in your web browser settings.
  • Any pending transactions are categorized.
  • Your phone is nearby so you can receive the one-time password to verify your identity.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please let me know. Have a great day!
