Hi there, Patricia-Ngene. The ending statement date for a completed reconciliation can’t be edited once it’s finalized, as QuickBooks locks those details to keep your records accurate. To correct it, the reconciliation will need to be undone and then completed again with the correct date.

In this case, you can ask your accountant to undo the reconciliation for you. They can go to Accounting, then Reconcile, and open History by account. From there, they can locate the reconciliation report and select Undo.

Once the reconciliation has been undone, you can start again and enter the correct ending statement date and balance.

For more detailed guidance, your accountant can also refer to the article Undo a client’s reconciliation in QuickBooks Online Accountant.
