How often Will I need to import bank statements to my quickbook

It's a pleasure to have you here in the Community space. I'll share details about importing bank transactions inside QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You can upload transactions inside the program anytime. That said, you choose your preferred time or period on when to upload bank transactions into the company file. After downloading bank transactions from your financial firm, here's how you can import them to QBO:

1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
2. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions (Take me there).
3. Select the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
4. Click the Link account ▼ dropdown, then select Upload from file
5. Select Drag and drop or select files and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, select Continue.
6. In the QuickBooks Account ▼ dropdown, choose the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then, select Continue. A reminder, if you're new to QuickBooks, you may not have an account to upload the transactions into. If you don't see one, select Add New ▼ from the dropdown to create a new bank account.
7. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
8. Choose the transactions you would like to import. Once done, click Continue.
9. Select Yes and then click Done.
