We'll have to manually undo the reconciliation, mlee2.

In QuickBooks, we're unable to delete a reconciliation but, we can do them so we can make any changes. I'll show you how:

Just a heads up, if you have lots of transactions to unreconciled, I'd suggest reaching out to your accountant. They have the tools that can undo the reconciliation one time.

Then, here's how to manually undo:

  1. From the Accounting tab, select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Locate the account and click the Account history link.
  3. Select the transaction you want to unreconciled.
  4. Go to the Reconcile (✓column, and click the box until it's blank.
  5. Select Save.

I've also added this article for more information when doing the process: Undo and remove transactions from reconciliations.

I'm just a post away to help you. Keep safe!
