I’d be happy to help you with managing your bank deposits in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Tmhg816.

Before we dive into the steps, could you clarify if you’re trying to delete or correct/edit a bank deposit? This approach is slightly different for each.

If you‘re trying to delete a bank deposit, you can follow these steps below:

  1. Go to Transactions menu and choose the Chart of Accounts.
  2. Locate the bank account and click View Register.
  3. Find the Bank deposit and tick Delete.
  4. Click Yes to confirm.

On the other hand, you can click Edit If you want to modify the details of your bank deposit.

If the deposit was part of the reconciled account, deleting it will unbalance the reconciliation. You’ll need to unreconcile the specific transaction first by clicking the R in the checkmark column in the register until it’s blank before deleting.

However, it’s still recommended to reach out to your accountant to ensure the accuracy of your books.

Moreover, I’ve also added this article to organize your transactions: Categorise online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online

If you have further questions or run into any issues, just let me know. We’re here to help, Tmhg816.
