How to I revert to the previous layout for invoicing?

The option to switch back to the old invoice layout is not available for all QuickBooks Online Canada users. Intuit has indicated that the new invoice experience has been rolled out, and for some plans the old layout can’t be restored.

For the tax issue, make sure your tax setup, customer details, and product/service tax categories are correct, because QuickBooks calculates tax based on those settings and the customer’s tax status/address.
