I commend you for the progress you've made in addressing your reconciliation issue, Gavin. I'm here to help you resolve the error you've encountered.

The error indicates that some transactions might have been changed, re-categorized, deleted, or unreconciled after the account was already reconciled.

To resolve this, you can review the changed transaction by clicking the We can help you fix it link.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select the Bank and click Account History.
  3. Hit the Reconcile button.
  4. Click the We can help you fix it link.
  5. Locate and click the transaction that matches the difference.
  6. Click the box under the Check column until it shows R.
  7. Hit Save.
  8. Click Done.

If the transaction was deleted, you can view and re-record it to ensure there are no discrepancies in your account's beginning balance.

To review a deleted transaction and re-record it:

  1. Go to Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select the Bank and click Account History.
  3. Hit the Reconcile button.
  4. Click the We can help you fix it link.
  5. Locate the transaction that matches the difference and click View.
  6. Record the deleted transaction again.

After recording the deleted transaction, it must be manually reconciled to restore alignment in your accounts. Here's how:

  1. Go to Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select the Bank and click Account History.
  3. Locate and click the recorded transaction.
  4. Click the box under the Check column until it shows R.
  5. Hit Save.

Once you've recovered and manually reconciled the transactions, you can now proceed to start reconciling your account as usual.

Please let us know if you need further assistance with this process.
