Hi there, @Seher-Rishi. To identify exactly where your books diverged, let's compare your bank register’s Running Balance directly against your physical bank statement. This allows you to pinpoint the specific date the discrepancy began by scrolling back to the last moment the two balances matched perfectly.

To do this, navigate to your Chart of Accounts, select the Bank account, and click View Register. Ensure the running balance column is visible so you can see the impact of every transaction, including those that haven't been reconciled yet.

Keep a sharp eye out for "double-counting." If you manually recorded a Sale or Expense and then clicked Add on the bank feed instead of Match, that transaction is now recorded twice.

You can easily spot these by looking for entries in your register that lack the green "bank" icon or a cleared (C) status, as these are often the "ghost" duplicates that affect your total.

I will keep an eye on this post. If you have additional questions, please reply to this post.
