Question

I mistakenly unchecked the tick box on the right of my reconciliation screen and undid my entire reconciliation. I didn't save. How can I get it back to what I had saved?

This is my first time doing a reconciliation in three years (slow learner). At the end I saved my work. Then I wanted to see which items were unreconciled so I unchecked the tick-box on the top right of the screen thinking this would filter my reconciliation by unreconciled items. Instead it's unchecked all my transactions going back to the start. How can I recover the saved version of my reconciliation or have I undone my entire work?

Hi @themewssligo,

If you chose Save for later after unchecking the topmost tick box on the reconciliation screen, all transactions will be left uncleared. However, you can return to where you left off by selecting the Resume reconciling option for that account. Then get your bank or credit card statement and clear the transactions by checking their corresponding matches in the reconciliation screen. Afterwards, click the Finish now option to complete the reconciliation for the account.

To help with reconciliation, you can use the Filter (funnel icon) and choose either Cleared or Not cleared from the Cleared status dropdown to sort transactions.
