You've come to the right place for assistance. I'm happy to provide some info about you first deposit in QuickBooks Online.

First-time QuickBooks Online payments can often take longer than the standard time, sometimes 5–10 business days for verification, even if the email stated a 48-hour timeline. If funds aren't on hold in the Merchant Center but haven't arrived, check the bank account link in QBO settings. Weekend and/or holiday delays can affect the time frame as well.

Here are a few of the most common causes for delay with your first deposit:

    • Check Merchant Center: Log in to the Merchant Service Center to confirm the status is not "Withheld" or "Returned".
    • New Account Verification: First deposits are frequently held for review to verify the account, which can extend beyond the initial 5 business days.
    • Banking Processing Time: Even if QuickBooks released the funds, it can take 1-2 business days for your bank to post them.
    • Action Needed: If more than 7-10 business days have passed, check your email (including spam) for requests for documentation from Intuit, or contact QB support directly.

If the deposit status in the Merchant Center says "Deposited" but isn't in your bank, I recommend reaching out to your bank to ask about pending incoming ACH transfers.
